That means you can now add your Amazon Associates tags into Commerce Unified, use Commerce tools to affiliate and manage your links and access powerful reporting through the Commerce dashboard.
How it works:
Naturally, as the largest player in the affiliate ecosystem, Amazon’s tracking setup isn’t as straightforward as the other affiliate networks. Connecting your Amazon credentials requires a slightly different approach than other affiliate network partners.
1. Add your Amazon tags – Log into Sovrn Commerce and navigate to the Affiliate networks header in the left-side navigation bar to get started. Select Amazon Associates from the list of network options — it’s listed right at the top. Then select the country you wish to connect to and enter your unique Amazon tracking ID. (These IDs can be created through your Amazon Associates account.) You’ll need to follow this process per Amazon requirements for each geo you work in, so repeat these steps for additional countries as needed.
2. Build and manage your affiliate links – Commerce Unified lets you create, view, and manage links for Amazon (and all your other networks) in one convenient location. Whether you build links through the Commerce platform, Chrome extension, JavaScript, Mobile app, or our API, every Amazon link will be tracked on the Commerce dashboard.
