Certification Reinforces Company Commitment to Network Hygiene and Brand Safety
BOULDER, Colo. May 13, 2014 Sovrn Holdings, Inc., advocate of and partner to almost 20,000 publishers across the independent web, today announced that it has been certified under the updated Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Quality Assurance Guidelines Program (QAG 2.0). QAG certification is the most recent achievement in Sovrn’s steadfast commitment to providing advertisers with access to engaged consumers currently found on over one million independent, influential and brand safe sites across the Sovrn network.
The IAB QAG helps establish trust between buyers and sellers in a complex and ever-changing digital advertising ecosystem. It helps promote the flow of advertising budgets into digital advertising by establishing industry regulation that offers a framework for brand safety.
QAG certification helps inventory supply side players like Sovrn demonstrate that they have achieved a new level of excellence in trust, transparency, quality and safety. As part of the certification, Sovrn went through rigorous training, audit, and compliance requirements for the program, which ensures that digital advertising companies are following the IAB’s QAG for ad placement and context.
“With such an extensive network, it’s critical that we leverage all of the tools, processes, and industry standards available to ensure that we are providing a safe, dependable environment for advertisers to reach consumers,” said Walter Knapp, CEO of Sovrn. “At Sovrn, we are maniacal about network quality and brand safety, and our participation in the QAG program further validates our commitment to industry standards for overall network hygiene.”
