1. Connect your affiliate networks.
Commerce Unified lets you manage direct relationships with top affiliate networks like Rakuten, Commission Junction, Impact Radius, and more — all in one place. Just log in and follow the simple on-screen instructions to enter your credentials and connect your affiliate network accounts.
2. Enable Unified Optimization.
Locate the Merchant Settings page in the Commerce platform navigation. As a Commerce Unified customer, you’ll have the option to enable Unified Optimization — which integrates all your merchant partnerships into our yield optimization tool. This ensures that your direct partnerships are factored into the real-time traffic routing decisions to maximize revenue potential across all networks.
3. Implement optional merchant-level controls.
Unified Optimization also provides manual controls, so you can exclude certain merchant traffic from the yield optimization process. For example, you may always want traffic from certain high priority merchants to be routed through a specific network. Simply add those merchants to your exclusion list and you’ll maintain full control over those clicks.
4. Start driving more revenue from every click.
When a user clicks on a merchant link, Sovrn initiates an auction in real time (unless the merchant is on your exclusion list). Click requests are sent to all available networks, including your direct relationships. The highest bid wins the auction, and the click is routed through that network. Our predictive rate modeling ensures that every click returns the highest possible EPC — and it all happens without any extra work on your part.
